This website

Donations currently take place on our existing website. Its privacy policy applies when you use that checkout. This website stores account and mailing choices only when you provide them.

Client accounts store your name, email address, a securely hashed password, saved favourite ponies and linked donation, purchase and sponsorship records on the charity’s server. Passwords are never stored as readable text. Client and administrator sign-in use secure session cookies. Guest records are not automatically attached by email address. Payments are not connected yet and no card details are collected.

Newsletter subscriptions

When you request newsletters, we store your selected delivery methods, name, email address and/or postal address, and a dated record of your permission. Email subscriptions are activated after you confirm your address. Postal requests are reviewed by the sanctuary team. Authorised administrators can manage the list and download postal addresses for printing and posting. When email delivery is connected, our provider will process those messages. You can unsubscribe using the link in an email or contact the sanctuary team about postal newsletters. We keep withdrawal records to avoid sending newsletters you no longer want.

Website analytics

With your consent, this website stores anonymous browser and visit identifiers on your device and measures page views and interactions on our own server. You can reject or revoke analytics using Analytics preferences. Basic server request totals are recorded separately without visitor identifiers. Analytics does not store raw IP addresses, full referral URLs, form contents or account credentials. Signed-in administrators are excluded from browser visitor tracking.
